KRIS HELMACY

I am an enthusiastic and motivated animation student very eager to seek new opportunities to learn and grow in the industry. I am passionate about the artistic process and strive to uphold high standards in the creation of both art and animation.

My sources of inspiration are vast, drawing from nearly everything around me, but I am particularly drawn to the rotoscope era of Disney, Don Bluth movies, as well as other animated works from the 1970's to the early 2000's.

I am eager to expand my skill set and knowledge and I'm open to learning new artistic/animation techniques, programs, and hobbies. Taxidermy and costume-making are among a few of the other skills I've developed over the years.

Additionally, I welcome constructive criticism as a means to improve and enhance the quality of my work.
I'm currently exploring a variety of design/storyboarding roles to consider for my career path.
